The Asia Mobile Awards – or AMOs – offer organisations across the region’s mobile ecosystem (including vertical industries) the opportunity to showcase the latest and greatest mobile products, apps, devices, services and initiatives to the industry and the world. They are open to all eligible mobile companies and supporters of the mobile ecosystem – including GSMA Members, Associate Members and Non-members.
The presentation of the Awards takes place during the Mobile World Congress Shanghai (27 – 29 June 2018).
The AMOs recognise everything from game-changing mobile devices and technologies, to applications and services developed for, or available in Asian markets, showcasing the ever growing value that mobility brings to users, industries, businesses, communities and economies across Asia’s countries and regions.
The AMOs were first presented in 2006 at the GSMA’s Asia events in Singapore, then Hong Kong and Macau until 2010. This year is the third year, they return to the Mobile World Congress Shanghai.
The GSMA represents the interests of mobile operators worldwide, uniting nearly 800 operators with more than 300 companies in the broader mobile ecosystem, including handset and device makers, software companies, equipment providers and Internet companies, as well as organisations in adjacent industry sectors. The GSMA also produces industry-leading events such as Mobile World Congress, Mobile World Congress Shanghai, Mobile World Congress Americas and the Mobile 360 Series conferences. For more information, please visit the GSMA corporate website at www.gsma.com.
See eligibility sections within the individual awards categories. The Asia Mobile Awards recognise and celebrate all contributions made to the evolving and developing mobile industry in Asia. Companies and organisations from all over the world are welcome to enter as long as they serve customers in countries and regions of Asia with commercially available services, applications, or products that are either created, manufactured or available in at least one market of the region.
We define Asia as the North, East, South and South East Asia Regions, plus the Pacific Region.
